Romania were the biggest winners of the last 16 after they took apart a Portugal side that simply had no answer to their opponents. They played Czech republic in the semi-finals, but it was tough game for them. The Romanians weren't their normal fluent selves in this game but they still had the better of the play against the Czechs who have definitely improved as the tournament has gone on!

In round of 16 it was a big win for Bulgaria in who bounced back from a heavy defeat in their last group game against Montenegro to book their place in the last eight. Bulgaria comfortably beat France later in their QF as Les Blues finally ran out of steam after thrilling the crowds for the most part of this tournament.
