GREECE: “First of all, we need to get out of the group”

The Greeks already have two semi-finals at the European Championships to their name, with their biggest successes coming in Slovakia in 2010 and Romania in 2011. In recent years however, they have failed to get past the group stage. In Košice, they definitely want to change that.

“Our goal is to clearly move into the knockout phase. It doesn’t matter how far we go. The most important thing is to advance, from the first two or even from the third place. We realise that we have one of the toughest groups in the tournament, but we will put the maximum into every match,“ says the captain of the Greek team Nikos Stamos.

Coach Alexandros Moscholios will have a newly formed team in Košice, led by a pair of captains Nikos Stamos and Sakis Tzanetos. It is around them that the structure of the entire team is built.

ENGLAND: “We came to win the tournament”

England is a large Football country and in recent years there has been a significant development of small sided Football. At the last European Championship in 2018 in the Ukraine, the Three Lions made it to the semi-finals and finally finished in fourth place without a medal.

“With the quality we have, we expect to get out of the group. Then we will try to get as far as possible. Of course, we are coming to Slovakia to win the championship,“ said the player Manager of the English team, Ross Cable.

The English have a quality and well prepared team whose captain is George Isaac.

An interesting player in the English team that is worth watching is the young tireless and talented midfielder, Dominic Morgan Griffiths.

ISRAEL: “We want to gain respect”

At EMF EURO 2022, Israeli players want to go beyond the shadow of the group stage, which was the maximum for them in previous tournaments. “The goal is to show attractive Football and advance from the group stage to the round of 16. We want to present ourselves in the best possible light and build respect on the European scene as a strong and high-quality team,“ said Rami Koren, the Sports Director of the Israeli national team.

The Israelis are drawing attention to a player named Adar Kalir, in whom they have high hopes for the tournament, despite the fact that he will make his debut at the European Football Championship. However, he already has 10 years of experience in Minifootball.

KAZAKHSTAN: “We want to bring home a trophy”

Amongst the favourites of the tournament is definitely Kazakhstan, which won the European Championship in Hungary in 2016 and finished third in 2018 in Ukraine. Minifootball is moving very fast in this country at the moment, which is why we can expect great things from them.

“We have a very strong group, so it will not be easy for us. The basic goal is to advance to the knockout stages. Of course, we want to show the best possible performance, beat anyone who then comes our way and bring home the EMF EURO 2022 trophy” is the opinion of the national selection of Kazakhstan.
